Is it really free?

Yes. Without an account you can transcribe one file a day, up to 10 minutes, at no cost. A free account gives you 120 minutes every month, with no credit card.

What happens to my file?

Your file and transcript are deleted automatically after 24 hours, from our storage and from our transcription provider. Nobody at LiteScribe reads them.

Which languages?

The language is detected automatically, or you can pick it. LiteScribe transcribes 99 languages, including Italian and Portuguese.

Which file types?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, MP4 and MOV, up to 150 MB. WhatsApp voice notes (.opus) work too.

Does it separate speakers?

Yes. Each line is labeled by speaker and timestamped, and the SRT download works as subtitles.
