Send Finished Transcripts to Zapier

LiteScribe has an invite-only Zapier app with one trigger, Transcript Completed. When a transcript finishes, LiteScribe pushes it to Zapier instantly, and your Zap can send a Slack message, create a Google Doc or run any other Zapier action. You connect with an API key created in Settings > Integrations. The app is not yet in the public Zapier directory, and API keys are open to every plan.

What You Can Automate Today

The LiteScribe Zapier app does one thing, and does it instantly: it tells Zapier when a transcript is ready. From there, any Zapier action can take over.

  • Start a Zap the moment a transcript finishes processing
  • Receive the transcript text, title, language, duration and a link to the transcript
  • Connect with an API key you create in Settings > Integrations
  • Revoke the key whenever you no longer need it

Zapier App Status: Available by Invite

The LiteScribe Zapier app is not yet listed in the public Zapier App Directory, so searching for LiteScribe inside the Zap editor will not find it. Access is granted through an invite link. Contact support and we will send you one.

  • Not listed in the public Zapier App Directory yet
  • Access is by invite link, available from support on request
  • Only the Transcript Completed trigger is available

Trigger: Transcript Completed

Transcript Completed is a REST hook, so Zapier subscribes once and LiteScribe pushes the event the instant transcription finishes. No polling, and no waiting around for Zapier to run its next scheduled check.

  • Fires as soon as a transcription is fully processed
  • Payload carries the full transcript text, not just an excerpt
  • Includes the title, language, duration and a link to the transcript
  • Every delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256

Workflows Worth Building

The pattern that pays off fastest is transcript-completed piped straight into wherever your team already reads things.

  • Send a Slack message when a transcript completes
  • Create a Google Doc with the transcript for editing
  • Add a row to a Notion database or Airtable base
  • Email your team a link when a transcript is ready

Frequently Asked Questions

It has one trigger, Transcript Completed, a REST hook that fires the instant a transcription finishes. Your Zap can then run any action Zapier supports, such as sending a Slack message or creating a Google Doc.

Not yet. The Zapier app has not been published to the public Zapier App Directory, so searching for it inside the Zap editor will not return a result. Access is currently granted by invite link. Contact support and we will send you one.

Open LiteScribe, go to Settings then Integrations, and create a key. It is shown once at creation, so copy it straight into your password manager or into Zapier. Keys start with lsk_, are stored hashed rather than in plain text, and you can revoke any key instantly from the same screen.

Every webhook carries an X-LiteScribe-Signature header in the form sha256=hex, plus an X-LiteScribe-Timestamp header. Recompute an HMAC-SHA256 over the timestamp, a dot, and the raw request body using your signing secret, then compare it against the signature. Reject anything with an old timestamp to shut down replay attempts.

The Zapier app only reacts to transcripts that already finished, so it does not start any transcription of its own. Transcripts are billed as usual, against your monthly allowance. The free plan includes 120 minutes every month.
